i jus realised that as much as i am easily contented, i'm also quickly sunken. it almost feels as tho life is about getting yourself out of one trap after another...a repititive process which nonetheless brings about enough satisfaction to make it all worth it. but if you're gonna fall into the same trap over and over again, the satisfaction of gettin out lessens until it becomes redundant. oh, you sure can make yourself feel better by reassuring that you're not gonna fall in again...in the end? Sigh.
if that's a sign of weakness, how can i toughen up on that? otherwise, am i jus plain dumb or wat?!
insomnia.

met a friend for dinner today...and as usual, her invitations are always so impromptu. went to kenny roger's at great world, and bumped into some "old" friends. felt a little bit funny because it also brought back some, albeit vague, memories. and because of that, the day felt different..."Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life..."
people come and go from our lives, some can bring out the best in us while some the worst. but i've always believed that there're reasons behind every entrance or departure...and i'd also like to believe these reasons are for my own good. so to those who're suffering right now, i sincerely hope you could find your reasons to move on. there's really so much more to life than love, go live it!

thursday marked the end (hopefully) of my student life. nothing, absolutely nothing could've dampened that mood, not even screwin up my last ditch effort...the fyp presentation. the fact that everything is over, alone, may have fended off any bad fortune tt had been oh so faithfull to me...at least for that one day.
today, i went over to nelson bar to help out...and sadly, most of the bluddy ang mos were elsewhere watching soccer. a quiet yet peaceful nite! and because most of the us were so free, someone taught me how to punch the bills and stuff. quite fun, and at least i could start to feel a little more useful there. so for now, i'd be frequenting nelson bar, and doing whatever i've been wanting to do...f*ck job searchin!

when your luck is down, some of your stuff jus won't go on too smoothly. but when your luck is really down, you can be so "suay" till it amuses you.
the thunderstorm today almost flooded my living room...the wind was so strong that it blew all the water in from my balcony. me being unaware of it, was told to go and check if the living room was fine. when i went downstairs, i saw huge puddles of water on the floor...was quite puzzled how e water came in cos the balcony wasn't flooded. and as i walked towards it, i slipped and fell with my cheekbone crashing to the down. how the hell can anyone fall so clumsily...and hittin e face on the floor?!
after i got over the shock, i somehow managed to laugh it off. stay at home also can kena something bad, i jus really am that suay!

WASHINGTON : The United States decided to bar a stopover by Taiwanese President Chen Shui-bian on his way to Latin America to avoid angering China, whose backing for UN action against Iran is critical, analysts said. Chen instead made transit stops in Abu Dhabi and Amsterdam en route to Paraguay and Costa Rica, two of only 25 nations that recognise Taiwan diplomatically. - AFP /ct

Greenhouse gas emissions increased in 2005: US study

Malaysia says no to more casinos
"We have a policy that we will not have a new casino in the country or issue a licence," Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak was quoted as saying by the official Bernama news agency. It recently entered a bid for the first casino in neighbouring Singapore. - AFP/de

PM Lee says countries worldwide respect and admire Singapore's proven system
Speaking at the first lunchtime election rally in Singapore in nine years, Mr Lee says the PAP has a proven system that works. He says some Singaporeans want a more open, multi-party system. But the opposition parties are capitalising on this by asking for their votes, not because of their abilities or policies, but because then, the opposition would exist. So he questioned if this would make things better for Singapore. "Right now we have Low Thia Khiang, Chiam See Tong, Steve Chia. We can deal with them. Suppose you had 10, 15, 20 opposition members in Parliament. Instead of spending my time thinking what is the right policy for Singapore, I'm going to spend all my time thinking what's the right way to fix them, to buy my supporters votes, how can I solve this week's problem and forget about next year's challenges?" - CNA/de

AND, i wanna be fit again! haha, the good thing about that...running is free.
