Was one paper down since last thursday...the next paper's like 8 days away, so i decided to give myself a little exam break. Wat i did? Chilled out at Alt for 3 consecutive nights, outta which 2 nights i din return home. 2nd night was spent playing mah jong at toa payoh...it wasnt planned for, but with that tiny bit of temptation plus a kind heart (to make up for the 4th kaki), i went along. Din quite regret it really...it jus felt as though exams were really over. Haha...so deluded. We played from 4plus in the morning till bout 2plus the next day afternoon, which was 3 full rounds of mahjong!! Its no wonder everyone of us took turns to stone at some point in time.
But somehow, things took a little turn in the midst of my ecstacy. My mommy called during mah jong. She accused me of lying about studying, about not staying home, and was jus fed up bout not knowing wat's going on in my life. Well, "accused" isn't quite the right word here...more of "exposed". Its funny that I actually feel guilt stricken only this time. When i did the don't-go-home thing the last time round, i totally felt cool about it. What happened this time?
Hmmm...i'm startin to suspect my mom's using reverse psychology on me. Whenever i get home after the hairdryer phonecall, she'll be super nice to me like i'm her sweet little daughter again. And likewise i, being the lovely little me, (*ahem*) will be double nice back to her. Well, i have to admit that i love the night life alot...but i love my family no less. Haha, is it even supposed to be a choice i have to make? Haven't really been thinkin bout any issues lately, jus going according to my moods and doing what i really feel like doing (and of cos i'm sane enough to ensure i don't regret it). Guess i'm not quite tryin to make a point here, jus pouring out watevers in my mind...
Darn Man U, keep losing points after the dramatic victory over Arsenal! Complacent issit?!
